city have only a few places for Internet Access.
All the internet access speed in Manado is slow
(just simple dial-up, no high speed or broadband).
Normally all the internet access shops, they charge
Rp 10,000 / hr, or around USD 1. Laptop normally
is not allowed in the internet access shops. You
can probably try that in hotels where they have
an internet connection telephone line. Some of the
better known and centrally located Internet cafés
are ELF Internet ( recommended ), CYBER Cafe ( Cheap
BUT Low Access ), ENJOY Net ( it ok, but EXPENSIVE
), INFORMATIC internet arround BAHU MALL ( It is
ok but a little bit far from the city ), Kawan Baru
( Recommended but now is temporary offline ). There
is a NEW internet Access at the third floor in MEGA
MALL ( Recomended ! ) .
There is one also Internet place in the AIRPORT
of Manado called " AURORA NET
". Providing High-Speed Internet Access for
USD.1 / 30 Minutes. Their Staff can also give you
a reliable information about Tours in Sulawesi include
to Toraja Land and Bali. Arrangement for Domectic
Flight Tickets, Car Rental, Motor Bike, Minahasa
High land Tours, Diving Tours to Bunaken Island,
Glass Bottom Boat trip in Bunaken, Muck Diving in
